Started her career in dental reception in 1977 in Peterborough and moved to Kawartha Lakes in 1983, working with Dr. Alex Istchenko until his retirement in 2007. Then Lois joined Dr. Sami Ullah. Lois is married with two daughters and two grandchildren and enjoys gardening and quilting.
Michelle Dykstra
Dental Assistant
Born and raised in the City of Kawartha Lakes. Attended Durham College in 2004 where she graduated form the Dental Assisting program. She has been a Certified Level 2 Dental Assistant and a member of the Ontario Dental Assistants Association since 2005. She continues to further her education and upgrade her skills by attending training seminars regularly. Michelle has been with the practice since 2007. She is married with two beautiful girls. She enjoys spending time with her family and the outdoors.
